ALESSANDRO BRIGHETTI

Alessandro Brighetti nasce a Bologna il 9 luglio 1978, dove vive e lavora.
Dopo il diploma scientifico, si trasferisce prima a Firenze e poi in Spagna. Dall’età di 27 affronta la carriera artistica impugnando i pennelli ed iscrivendosi alla Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna.
Nel 2007 è finalista al Premio S.A.M.P. presso la Pinacoteca di Bologna e poi al Premio Morlotti ad Imbersago (Co). Sempre nello stesso anno è invitato alla settimana internazionale della Fotografia a Reggio Emilia nella mostra Household ed espone al Museo Bargellini a Pieve di Cento (Bo).
Nel 2008, assieme all’artista Umberto Ciceri, presenta un originale progetto espositivo intitolato Order without Border nello Spazio 2bo, un suggestivo scenario archeologico industriale. Sempre nel 2008 risulta vincitore al Premio Italian Factory per la giovane pittura italiana e partecipa alla mostra Rumors nell’ex-Arsenale Borgo Dora di Torino, in concomitanza con Artissima15.
Nel 2009, è tra i partecipanti del progetto Bologna Batte Berlino presso la Galleria Otre Dimore di Bologna e presenta la mostra God Alter Ego presso la Fabbrica Borroni di Bollate (Mi), all’interno di Take Off, evento collaterale a MiArt 2009.

Alessandro Brighetti was born in Bologna on 9Th July 1978 and still lives and works there.
After gaining his high school diploma in sciences, he first moved to Florence and then to Spain. At the age of 27 he embarked on his artistic career, taking up his brushes and enrolling at Bologna Accademia di Belle Arti.
In 2007, he was a finalist in the S.A.M.P. Prize at the Pinacoteca di Bologna and then in the Morlotti Prize in Imbersago, Como. In the same year he was invited to take part in the International Photography Week in Reggio Emilia in the Household exhibition and showed his work at the Museo Bargellini in Pieve di Cento, Bologna.
In 2008, together with artist Umberto Ciceri, he presented an original exhibition project entitled Order without Border at the Spazio 2bo, an evocative industrial archaeological setting. Again in 2008, he was the winner of Italian Factory Prize for young Italian painting and took part in the Rumors exhibition at the former Arsenale Borgo Dora in Turin, in conjunction with Artissima15.
In 2009, he was one of the participants in the Bologna Batte Berlino [Bologna Beats Berlin] project at the Galleria Otre Dimore in Bologna and presented at the God Alter Ego at the Fabbrica Borroni in Bollate, Milano, as part of the Take Off collateral event at MiArt 2009.
